Osteoarthritis is one of the most important causes of pain and limited mobility in old age. The most effective methods of treating osteoarthritis are physical therapy and teaching.</p> <p><bold>AIM</bold><italic>: </italic>To analyze the possibilities of inpatient rehabilitation departments of a multidisciplinary institution of social protection of the population in the rehabilitation of people with osteoarthritis.</p> <p><bold>MATERIALS AND METHODS</bold><italic>: </italic>The study is continuous, single-stage, single-center, retrospective. 6578 persons with disabilities who received inpatient rehabilitation from 2021 to 2023 were examined. Demographic indicators and nosological structure have been studied. A group of disabled people with osteoarthritis has been identified and studied in depth. The composition and scope of measures for the medical rehabilitation of people with ostearthritis have been studied.</p> <p><bold>RESULTS</bold><italic>: </italic>It was found that people with disabilities with osteoarthritis constitute the largest group among all people who received inpatient rehabilitation (37.9%). The vast majority of people with osteoarthritis with disabilities were female (88.8%). The basis of the inpatient rehabilitation program for patients with osteoarthritis was based on methods with proven effectiveness.</p> <p><bold>CONCLUSION</bold><italic>: </italic>Rehabilitation social protection institutions make a significant contribution to meeting the needs of people with disabilities, as one of the most socially vulnerable categories of the population, in rehabilitation assistance.</p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="ru"><p><bold>Обоснование</bold>. Актуальные демографические тенденции свидетельствуют о повышении доли лиц пожилого и старческого возраста в общей структуре населения. Одной из важнейших причин боли и ограничения подвижности в пожилом возрасте является остеоартроз. Наиболее эффективные методы лечения остеоартроза — лечебная физкультура и обучение.</p> <p><bold>Цель</bold>. Проанализировать возможности стационарных реабилитационных отделений многопрофильного учреждения социальной защиты населения в проведении реабилитации инвалидов с остеоартрозами.</p> <p><bold>Материалы и методы</bold>. Проведено сплошное одномоментное одноцентровое ретроспективное исследование. Обследованы 6578 лиц с инвалидностью, получавших стационарную реабилитацию с 2021 по 2023 год. Изучены демографические показатели и нозологическая структура. Выявлена и углублённо исследована группа инвалидов с остеоартрозами. Изучены состав и объём мероприятий по медицинской реабилитации инвалидов с остеоартрозами.</p> <p><bold>Результаты</bold>. Установлено, что инвалиды с остеоартрозами составляют наиболее многочисленную группу среди всех лиц, получавших стационарную реабилитацию (37,9%). Подавляющее большинство инвалидов с остеоартрозами составляли лица женского пола (88,8%). В основе программы стационарной реабилитации пациентов с остеоартрозами лежали методы, имеющие доказанную эффективность.</p> <p><bold>Заключение</bold>.
