DISABILITY DETERMINATION IN INFANTS

Abstract

Proposed medical technology is based on the score system evaluation of restrictions in major categories of life activity in infants. The system allows to make a more objective approach to the definition of the «disabled child» category according to age pecularities, objectify the assessment of of life limitations in the major categories in children of the first year, to avoid a false positive, false negative decisions during medical and social assessment. In addition, it allows to create the rational design of rehabilitation, to evaluate the effectiveness of the rehabilitation measures.

Abstract

The study of the working-age people with disabilities has been conducted in sanatorium rehabilitation organization on the basis of specialized cardiological sanatorium. Analysis of the rehabilitation impact measures showed that the defects of the rehabilitation process organization (lack of socio-psychological measures in institutional rehabilitation programs, lack of full coverage for disabled with all the necessary rehabilitation effects, irrational sequence of rehabilitation) lead to a decrease in the effectiveness of rehabilitation actions.

REHABILITATION OF DISABLED PEOPLE AFTER INTERSCAPULAR-THORACIC RESECTION

Abstract

The study objective was devoted to rehabilitation of disabled people after interscapular-thoracic resection. The results of the rehabilitative therapy and ORTO-treatment are presented. The construction of the orthopaedic device «Exoskeleton» for the upper extremity, which is used after the interscapular-thoracic resection is described, the novelty of which is confirmed with a useful model patent. The results of the orthopaedic provision were studied in various physiological and biomechanical investigations. Clinical observations as well as the accomplished studies corroborate the rational character of patient treatment with the ORTO devices. Elimination of functional and cosmetic defects ensures complete social rehabilitation and integration in the society.

REPEATED ADULT DISABILITY DUE TO MALIGNANT NEOPLASMS IN THE BELGOROD REGION IN DYNAMICS FOR 2000-2009

Abstract

Annual number of disabled due to cancer increased by 71.2% in 10 years of observation (2000-2009) in the Belgorod region. Their share increased from 6 to 11.7% of the total re-registered as disabled. In 2009, the malignancy as a cause of disability was ranged 2 after diseases of the circulatory system. Re-registered population of disabled due to malignant tumors formed mainly middle-aged (53.5%) and younger (31.2%) of working age, disabled of II and III groups (respectively 48.8 and 40.1%). With age, the heavier re-install of disability. Installed negative trend levels, patterns and trends of adults re-disability due to malignant neoplasms suggests the relevance and high medical and social and economic importance of the problem.

Abstract

It has been estimated that the number of newly registered disabled due to coronary heart disease among all age groups in the Kemerovo region decreased, as well as in the Russian Federation. In Kemerovo region proportion of coronary heart disease among other diseases of the circulatory system in the period under review declined, despite the fact that in Russia the rate was relatively stable. Among newly registered disabled due to ischemic heart disease prevailed people of retirement age. During the analyzed period, the structure of disability groups by 2010. There have been changes in the ratio of II and III group of disabled in favor of the latter. A proportion of people with disabilities in group I was consistently low.

The paper analyzes the primary disability due to cardiovascular disease in the Republic of Mordovia in the six years from 2005 to 2010, adjusted for age, sex, disability groups in comparison to the official data of the Russian Federation and the Volga Federal District. Statistics revealed a clear pattern of low primary disability in the Republic of Mordovia, and the Russian Federation and the Volga Federal District. Abstract

Research is devoted to the influence of neglekta and "repulsion" syndromes on the degree of recovery of patients after stroke and the level of domestic adaptation, as well as assessing the effectiveness of patients compliance with these syndromes. Results of825 patients treatment. According to the study, the neglekta syndrome as well as "repulsion" syndrome significantly reduce the effectiveness of rehabilitation, while compliance with the rules of management of patients with these syndromes is an effective management of patients after stroke.
